Whether an insulating or outer layer, this down jacket will keep you warm in harsh mountain conditions while providing the lightest form possible. It achieves its incredible warmth-to-weight ratio with an ultra-light, durable recycled nylon shell featuring weather-resistant coating, along with filling from responsibly sourced, hydrophobic 850-fill down that insulates even in wet conditions. Carefully situated, the synthetic filling provides warmth in areas that need to withstand a lot of wear and tear. Thanks to its minimal weight and packing volume, you'll take the Taiss IN Hooded Jacket on tour without a second thought.
Super fragile fabric The top material is paper thin, I put the jacket on for skiing, I felt really warm but I found out I ripped it somewhere I have no idea how. The top fabric is super fragile, no resistance whatsoever. I claimed it and my claim got refused! So I asked the vendor to mend it. They did but asked 20€ for the repair. Now I need to buy a top layer jacket so that I do not rip it again
From Mammut IEFill shows through outside Fantastic cherry red color. However, the outer material is so thin it is essentially transparent. As a result, the black feathers in the down fill show through the jacket and make it appear stained all over. Great in theory, but poor execution from an otherwise reliable brand.
From Mammut IEPas aussi chaud qu'il en a l'air Au final 300 euros pour une doudoune relativement fine 800cuin c'est exagéré
From Mammut IESuper Jacke Tolle Jacke, leicht, aber wärmend. Das Verstauen in der Jackentasche ist etwas mühsam, ein separater Beutel wäre mir lieber.
From Mammut IETolle Jacke Super leicht und angenehm zu tragen

From Mammut IEAmazing As usual, perfect fit, light and practical.
From Mammut IEBetter than last gen Taiss I bought the early version of this Taiss jacket and the newer version doesn’t have any issues with the down feathers escaping from the seams. Lightweight but super warm and holds up in the mountain at -20C I bought a size S. I’m 5’2 and 123 lbs.
From Mammut IEsuper warm and lught weight my wife loves this jacket when it's cold. it's light weight and warmer than anything else she has. I highly recommend this! Great value!
From Mammut IEBest packable jacket that actually keeps you warm I love taking this jacket when I travel because it packs down so well but is also super warm and durable. It’s a great belay jacket on cold days and the hood is a nice fit. The down keeps you very warm while breathing really well, it doesn’t break wind that well though. It’s also durable enough for a day of pond hockey!
From Mammut IEFit is great! 5' 2" Fit is great! 5' 2" 115 lbs and the small is the perfect size with enough room to add layers underneath.
