Terms and conditions
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms govern use of Pack4Back at pack4back.com, including the catalog, planner, inventory, compares, group tours, and the Pack4Back tools inside ChatGPT and other MCP clients.
The service
Pack4Back helps you look up outdoor gear, build packing lists, track what you own, compare products, and plan group tours. Catalog data can be incomplete. Check the manufacturer or the shop before you rely on weight, price, or safety information.
Your account
You are responsible for your password and for activity under your account. Sign-in uses email and password, or a provider you choose. We do not require an authenticator app.
Your content
You keep rights to text you write, such as lists and comments. You give Pack4Back permission to store and show that content so the service works, including to people you share a list or a tour with. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
ChatGPT and other clients
Connecting Pack4Back lets that app call tools after you approve access. Tool results can appear in the chat. Disconnect the connector to stop access. The chat host's own terms also apply.
Shop links
Buy links open the retailer's website outside Pack4Back and outside ChatGPT. Pack4Back does not sell those goods, take payment for them, or embed a checkout in the chat. A purchase is between you and the retailer.
Subscriptions
Supporter and Group Tours plans are sold only on the Pack4Back website. The chat may describe a plan. It does not start checkout, and it must not link you to a page that starts payment.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the API, overload the service, or use the tools to harm other people. We may suspend access that threatens the service or other users.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as available. We may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make from catalog data or for third-party shops.
