Description
When every gram counts. The Barryvox® Package Light is a weight-optimized set of avalanche equipment for freeriding, off-piste runs or ski touring. It contains the digital 3-antenna Barryvox® avalanche transceiver, the lightweight avalanche Probe 240 short and the small, compact Alugator Light avalanche shovel. The Barryvox® scores well on extremely simple navigation and clear instructions. The aluminum avalanche Probe 240 short is safe and easy to use, even when wearing gloves. And the packing volume and weight are reduced to the minimum with the Alugator Light avalanche shovel, which features a blade made of hardened, anodized aluminum. Feel safe out in the snow.

Perfect thing to hope to never have to use Shovel is the light version. Just a hare smaller than normal. Probe is 220. Barryvox beacon is the best you can get - as told by avi class instructor.

This Mammut beacon is top-of-the-line. This Mammut beacon is top-of-the-line. I used it while completing my AIARE level 1 course. It is intuitive to use and an essential life-saving tool in the backcountry. The rest of the package is good, no complaints about the shovel or probe; however, there are other shovels on the market that have the ability to hoe ( for better clearing debris).

Been great so far I recently purchased this beacon, shovel, probe pack more backcountry trips and for my AIARE 1 course. So far it's worked as expected. Haven't needed to use it in a real life recovery yet (and hopefully never will), but I've been pleased so far. I may upgrade to a longer probe down the road, but the 240cm length has been fine so far. That's another one of those "I hope I don't NE

Great Avalanche pack for the Great Avalanche pack for the money. Really like how Mammut designed the beacon. Very straightforward to use and not huge and bulky. The probe and shovel are light weight and easy to deploy and use in any situation. An overall great design and package for getting in the backcountry. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good kit at a good price!

Haven't had much opportunity to Haven't had much opportunity to try the beacon out but the harness is comfortable and it seems pretty simple to use. The probe takes a minute to figure out but is super quick to put together once you do. I'm mostly impressed with the shovel, it's super light and compact and moves snow really fast, super useful for digging out my car the other day. I love the shovel

Fantastic I think everyone can pretty much agree that the barryvox is the best Beacon out there with maybe some competition from BCA. the shovel is sturdy and light. I had an issue with it freezing open, but i figure any shovel would have done the same thing. Only complaint is i would prefer a longer probe for deep PNW snowpacks
