Description
A handy model for a wide range of uses: thanks to its ergonomic, asymmetrically shaped T-grip, the Alugator Ride 3.0 sits comfortably in the hand, while the blade made of hardened and anodized aluminum won't leave you in the lurch. The stabilization ribs afford particularly high resilience. Thanks to its straight blade back, the Alugator Ride 3.0 is ideally suited to cutting straight snow profiles. With its space-saving blade design, the shovel can also be carried easily and rounds out your safety equipment with its Safety Orange design.

Never Used, Thankfully It's a little heavier than other models, but then I didn't spend the big bucks. Handle collapses and shovel disassembles and fits into all my packs no problem. Very happy with the design and portability.

She digs If you’re looking for a lightweight, compact and packable shovel look no further. The head digs great and the handle is very comfortable. I especially like the extendable/collapsible handle. Frankly, you will not find a better deal on a quality shovel, especially if you’re just getting into back country.

Light weight, tough, reliable The shovel is light weight, collapsible, quick to assemble in an emergency, and great at cutting through snow. No complaints or changes needed. One thing I am curious to see is the durability of the button locking system to extend/collapse the shovel and attach/detach the head. Will the button locks hold up over time?

I’ve used this shovel to I’ve used this shovel to practice avi 1 as well as made it apart of my pack. Fits well in the vest i have and is pretty lightweight. In taken it out numerous times with plans to keep using it again next season.
