Description
These cotton pants are part of our collaboration with British cult designer Nigel Cabourn. The collection pays homage to apparel from the 1960s, when the Japanese Direttissima route was first climbed on the Eiger. Built for a lifetime of adventures, these heritage mountaineering pants are inspired by those worn by expeditionists of the time. The Ventile® fabric was first developed in the 1930s and later adopted by pioneering alpinists as a barrier against the elements. Two cargo pockets with horn buttons, knee patch reinforcements, and an embroidered Mammut Garantie logo complement the timeless look. The Mammut x Cabourn Direttissima Cotton Pants embody the spirit of historic expeditions.

Perfect COOL Outdoor Pants Something different than the standard outdoor pant form. Comfortable with the wider leg. The pull at the ankle can make a different style. Can layer under if necessary. Bringing style to outdoors!

Last of Cabourn Waist fits perfectly. Leg length marginal, will be fine for summer w sandals. Would have preferred 2cm longer, but it's ok. The description on website suggests they are ventile, a good thing, but no label on garment to confirm. RIP Nigel
