The Taiss Guide softshell pants offer our collection’s most rugged weather protection. Developed for mountaineering and ski touring. The rugged 3-layer membrane fabric is completely windproof and, thanks to its PFC-free waterproofing, offers dependable protection even in the harshest conditions. After demanding sections, open the hip-level ventilation zippers. The elastic Velcro closures on the waist and leg seams with elastic gusset and zipper let you adjust the pants for a perfect fit. The Taiss Guide is lightweight and has many other features, such as zippered climbing harness-compatible pockets and reinforced leg hems to protect against scuffing from ski edges and crampons. Sizing is off I am a 0-2 and the size 4 barely gave any room to breathe, bend, and was too tight in the crotch. Size up by 2.

I bought 2 different styles I bought 2 different styles in size 4 for my wife during f&f Christmas special. One pair fits fine but the Mammut - Women's Taiss Guide SO Pants Are two tight in the hips and she needs a 6s. Color is optional. Any help?

Awesome pants (mostly) I've worn these several times for backcountry skiing and crevasse rescue practice. I love the short inseam and adjustable waist. My 2 problems: (1) they're a bit too snug in the thighs for my preference; I'd prefer them to be a little roomier, particularly if I'm using the beacon pocket. (I admittedly have big thighs). I think if I went a size up, they would be perfect. (2)

Runs small bit great pants I typically wear a medium and just about every manufacturer normally a size 8, however, when I receive my first pair in that size, the rise is rather short and they really too tightly to fit even a thin pair of a base layer underneath. So exchange for a size 10, and they fit great.
