Flimsy material tears easily After a few weeks of ordinary usage in various outdoor activities, these pants had already torn a few times. While lightweight, the material tears way too easily to be something I could trust. I don't recommend them for anything except as a backup waterproof pant you bring along but don't expect to use—for that purpose they are great. Additionally, I was disappointed

Good fitting pants, lacklustre quality and performance When I first received the mens alto light HS pants I was impressed with the initial fit of the pants, while a little long, the pants fit fell around my ankles, hips, and legs. Additionally, the zip ups on the side of the pants allow for you to take off the pants without having to take your boots off which was a huge plus. The pants lack a buck

Within one day of climbing in the high alpine, I put a small tear in the rear end scootching over rock. Great but Delicate Full zips made getting these pants on quickly without having to take off boots or get the inside of them muddy by putting them on with boots. Love the length, not so much the material The length, fit, and features (button-up, elastic waistband, water resistant pocket) are all wonderful. They are also super lightweight and pack very small. The material is just not tough enough though. I know they aren’t marketed as being tough, bushwhacking pants and I’ve treated them very gently as a result, yet they’ve still developed some pin-prick
