Description

Get into the groove with the K2 Instrument. It is a "jack-of-all-trades" all-mountain snowboard that specializes in sidecountry freeriding and on-piste ripping at the entire resort.

Features
  • Directional Camber profile features tip-to-tail camber for superior edge hold and response at all speeds
  • Volume Shift™ design moves volume from the tips and tails of traditional snowboard shapes and places it underfoot where it can be better controlled
  • This creates a wider, shorter board that maintains the float and stability of a traditional board, but increases maneuverability; downsize 2–4 cm from standard board length
  • A longer radius in the tip of the board eases turn initiation, while a deeper sidecut underfoot helps to rail turns
  • Responsive, powerful S1 Core is constructed from aspen, paulownia and bamboo, with strategic alignment under the bindings for precise power transfer and pressure distribution
  • ICG™ 10 biax fiberglass is woven at 2 angles with integrated carbon stringers for tip-to-tail and torsional stiffness
  • Carbon Torque Forks™ are carbon stringers under the inserts that transfer power to the edges of the board for increased responsiveness
  • Sintered 4000 base is strong, fast and extremely durable; it's built to retain wax and and deliver ultrasmooth glide
  • Snowboard deck and base colors may vary from online photo
