Description

The Edelrid MegaJul Belay Device is designed with high braking performance to assist the belayer with leader falls, yet also allows the belayer to pay out rope quickly when the leader needs it.

Features

• Use the MegaJul for belaying a leader or bringing up 1 or 2 seconding climbers; can also be used for rappelling
• Yellow thumb grip helps you keep the device in the "open" position so you can pay rope out quickly to the lead climber
• MegaJul can be set up as an auto-block device when you're belaying 1 or 2 seconding climbers
• Small eyelet lets you use a carabiner (sold separately) to release the device when loaded so you can lower a seconding climber
• The Edelrid MegaJul Belay Device is suitable for 7.8 - 10.5mm diameter ropes
