Bought them last winter for some technical ski mountaineering. They definitely provide great dexterity but that is about it. They do get wet pretty quickly. i am not sure if that is from sweat or from snow. Once they get wet just slightly, they colour my hands . Leather on the fingers is not very durable.

Exceptional belay glove. So comfortable - it seriously feels like a classy driving glove. Makes handling ropes, gear and general dexterity very very good. Lighter and more suited for the crag than the previous Rope Glove. Love them!

Feel sturdy and flexible, with enough sensitivity that you'd feel what you're doing. Fit is snug, which is probably what you want in a rope glove anyway.

Poor glove opening design. Most rope gloves for rock and alpine have an adjustable (eg. Velcro) opening to assist you with getting your hand into the glove. The size that fits my fingers providing good dexterity is a physical battle to pull on and off. This models execution is much better than the last rope glove (destroyed them guiding in one day) but still could use some refinement in design. De

A lot has changed from the old version I loved. Some better, some worse. I used the originals for desert canyon guiding and would wear through a pair per season, always the fingertip area went first. This pair seems to have improved that, and are similarly comfortable and dextrous. Time will tell, and I hope the exposed seams don’t become a failure point. A larger concern is the thumb web area,
