Description

The Magic Sling 12.0 has been produced using a completely new method – a core of round twisted Dyneema® yarn is surrounded by an abrasion-proof sheath. Resulting in an ultra-robust sling without any load-bearing connecting seam. Thanks to its special construction, the Magic Sling 12.0 offers significantly higher knot strength in comparison with conventional slings. The core-sheath construction (load-bearing core and protective sheath) also makes the sling far less susceptible to damaging UV rays, and abrasion from rough rocks does not impair the sling's tensile strength. The Magic Sling 12.0 is suitable for universal use and offers absolute maximum safety. The sheath construction of the sling has been revised for the 2019 summer season, making the new version of the Magic Sling 12.0 softer and more flexible.

    The sling that never gets snagged I use this for winter climbing as a workhorse sling in the 120cm. I keep a 120 cm on me at all time to sling rocks, v thread anchors, personal anchors. This sling does all of it and isn't a pain to untie when loaded. It isn't very supple which is a feature especially in the winter when having to tie and untie knots with gloves.     Extremely stiff! I struggled to Extremely stiff! I struggled to find an application that it was suitable for. Really hard to rack because it is so stiff. It also didn't work well for building anchors. Good concept but not practical. I would not recommend it.

    Suits my needs well so far I've been enjoying the jacket because it looks great, terrific color, it's light, and it's warm enough so far in November. We'll see how it feels in colder temps soon.     Best sling type Tubular design is the best IMO. Protective sheath over the core is fantastic. Still good weight and packs up almost as well as a traditional sling. Love it. Not quite as pack-able.
