Description
For reliable warmth and movement. This versatile layer works under a hardshell or as a standalone in transition seasons for hikes or multi-day ski tours. The jacket is insulated with our unique Mammut LOOPINSULATION, a synthetic fill made from recycled rope offcuts. The brick-lay engineered 3D baffles reduce cold spots thanks to their offset arrangement and the absence of seams. The raglan sleeves and side panels are made from recycled stretch fleece to boost mobility and better manage temperature. With a recycled wind-repellent outer fabric, too, the Sender IN Hybrid Jacket offers breathable protection and marks a step towards a more circular production process.

Hybrid jacket Bought this mainly for trips to the Alps. I find my midnight insulated jacket (with a hood) gets too warm. I tend to build a lot of heat up anyway so prefer lighter equipment. I think this will be excellent when on the move as you body temperature is regulated well due to the softshell material on the arms. I trialled it in the UK this week at about -5c and it worked well.
