Description

A light-duty trail tire designed to go fast in technical terrain, the Maxxis Rekon 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ tire can tackle a variety of surfaces, whether you're riding hard-packed dirt or loose gravel.

Points clés

• Wide knobs down the middle provide control under braking and L-shaped side knobs assure support when carving loose turns
• 3C MaxxTerra compound is an intermediate triple compound configuration that offers improved traction, better treadwear and less rolling resistance
• EXO+ layer in the sidewalls offers medium-duty puncture protection and is suitable for all-around trail riding
• Durable 60 tpi casing helps ward off damage from rocks and roots
• Small butyl insert around the bead protects the tire from pinch flats and helps prevent rim damage
• Tubeless-ready tire must be mounted to a tubeless-compatible rim and use a liquid sealant in order to retain air
• Tubeless-ready tires offer ability to run lower air pressures for improved traction, lower rolling resistance (compared to a tube-type tire) and decreased chance of flatting
• Recommended for hard-packed to loose conditions
