Description

Rail turns on hard snow and surf through deeper pow on the men's Line Sakana skis. They combine a unique swallowtail shape and camber with an Early Rise tips, back-mounted stance and wide shovels.

Points clés

• Versatile all-mountain skis utilize a distinctive swallowtail shape and camber through the majority of the ski for turns on hard snow
• Early rise tips, back-mounted stance and wide shovels allow the skis to surf through deeper snow
• Swallow Tail features a dramatic tail knockout that decouples the farthest reaches of the effective edge while simultaneously forcing the tail of the ski down in soft snow
• Swallow Tail results in skis that can be ridden at shorter lengths without sacrificing performance
• 5-Cut™ uses 5 different radii blended into the sidecut for a wide variety of turn shapes and an intuitive feel
• Sidewall is constructed with ultra-high-density polyethylene vertical walls over the edges to absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission
• With Directional Flex, the softer tips float and initiate turns easily while the stiffer tails provide power, stability and high-speed control
• Carbon Stringers offset by Flax Taping create added stiffness without the pingy, deflective properties of carbon
• Early Rise tips and tails lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centers of the skis
• Early Rise increases the skis' lift in deep snow and allows them to engage more quickly on hardpack
