Whether you're in the backcountry, at the park or on bumps, the Pret Cynic X2 Mips snow helmet delivers pro-level performance and protection in a low-profile, lightweight package with a dialed fit.

Points clés

• Made with HALEO antimicrobial EPS foam that kills 99% of bacteria and continues working throughout the life of the helmet to sanitize, disinfect and eliminate odors
• Advanced Composite Technology (ACT) design places carbon composite plates in the top, rear and sides, adding protection and performance to the in-mold polycarbonate shell base
• Rotational motion can cause brain injuries; with Mips®, a low-friction layer slides 10 to 15 mm in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact
• X-Static® XT2™ lining inhibits growth of odor-causing bacteria, keeping the helmet fresher for longer
• Direct Level 1 ventilation features 12 vents
• Quick-release RCS (Ripcord System) fit system gives you 4 cm of micro-adjustment for a perfect fit; instantly release the RCS by pulling up on the adjustment dial
• Removable ear covers let you quickly and easily uncover your ears without messing with the fit system—perfect for hot spring days and quick weather changes
• Audio-ready pockets let you drop in your audio for seamless tunes while cruising the hill; compatible with most earbud-style audio systems (not included)
• Fidlock® magnetic buckle is easy to open with one hand, even if you're wearing gloves—and closing it is just as easy
