Description

The simple look of the POC Meninx RS Mips snow helmet belies the advanced protection it offers—its ABS shell combines with Mips® and a liner with both EPS and EPP sections for protection and comfort.

Points clés

• Lightweight helmet features an ABS shell with a liner with both EPS and EPP sections to give the ultimate balance of protection, weight and comfort
• EPP liner section gives multi-impact protection in the places where most impacts occur
• EPS liner section on top of the head offers lightweight protection
• Rotational motion can cause brain injuries; with Mips, a low-friction layer slides 10 to 15 mm in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact
• Two-step detachable ear padding works in harmony with the helmet's discreet ventilation channels to create optimum temperature control
• Fidlock® buckle on the chin strap is easy to use with gloves on
• NFC Medical ID chip provides rescuers with the information they need in an instant, thus assisting them in making the best judgements for treatment at the scene of an injury
• Embedded RECCO® reflector enhances radio signals from search-and-rescue RECCO detectors, helping speed up the search for a buried avalanche victim or lost individual
• Certification: EN 1077-B, ASTM F2040
