Description

Built for backcountry riders who move light and fast yet still throttle their turns, the women's Karakoram Nomad splitboard bindings are superlight, strong and easy to use, even in sticky snow.

Points clés

• Women's bindings are made specifically for women's snowboard boots
• CNC-machined, laser-cut aircraft-grade aluminum and DuPont plastics keep your setup significantly lighter than traditional top-tier splitboard bindings
• Dual RideStride patented forward lean system allows you to optimize your highback angle for Ride Mode with 2 preset options (aggressive and mellow)
• With a -8° forward lean setting, Tour Mode allows you maximize your stride length and glide far with every step; it delivers a tight, smooth free pivot for power sidehilling
• Ride Mode 2.0 maximizes transition speed and ease—simply drop the bindings onto the self-cleaning interface and close the lever to engage Active Joining Technology (AJT)
• AJT keeps your feet spring loaded to the board, giving you direct power transfer to the edge, instant response and zero seam separation
• Precision sleeved and lubricated "thru axle" functions much like a mountain bike hub; it is clamped in place and is step-in compatible
• Dual speed risers with retractable heel lock offer efficient ease of use; activate risers with your ski pole basket and quickly toggle betwen high, low and flat positions
• Reactive highbacks have a medium-stiff flex to help you crank turns with power and comfort
• AirPod ankle straps conform to your boots with independent compression pods, eliminating pressure points and allowing for pinch-point-free flex
• AirForm toe straps with aluminum ratchets can be worn either as toe caps or over the feet
• Quiver Connectors (not included) allow you to quickly and effortlessly swap your Karakoram bindings from board to board
• Quick-release attachment of the Prime system allows you to eliminate a dimension of bulk for efficient storage and transport
• Compatible with Flex-Lock lever (not included)—flip it to get sidehilling leverage comparable to hard plastic AT ski boots; flip it back for lateral flex to surf the mountain
• Feel: 7 (on a scale of 1 to 10, soft to stiff)
• Weight per pair: 2 lbs. 13 oz. (1,280 g)
