Description

The DMM Peenut wire nut is shaped to allow a bigger area of surface contact than the smaller brass micro nuts, making it ideal for small flared placements.

Points clés

• Peenut has the same asymmetric taper as an Alloy Offset nut, allowing it to protect flared and irregular shaped cracks more effectively than a symmetrical nut
• Large surface area helps dissipate forces, making them suitable for protecting fragile rock
• More surface contact means that the energy generated in a fall is spread out and the rock is less likely to break
• Offset, tapered shape fits well in flared pin scars from pitons
• Anodized color coding makes them easy to select off your harness
