This high alpine boot is made with abrasion-proof materials, Aluminia insulation and has a double-insulated midsole for extreme durability and insulation. On your next adventure, the Nordwand 6000 will redefine the true meaning of stability and lightness.
Great Boot, Questionable Quality I've had the boot for multiple seasons and really enjoy them overall. Whether its a 3 hr hike to the base of the climb or climbing technical WI5, I find the boot to be incredibly comfortable and warm. The BOA system, which I am always questioning its durability, has thus far been pretty great. It takes me 30 seconds to unzip the boot and tighten and be ready for cl
Fuente: Mammut DKLightweight and comfy I really like this boot. It’s very warm, comfortable, and relatively lightweight. My one gripe with these boots is the build quality. There is a black mesh on the sole of the boot that was attached with adhesive to one boot, but not attached with anything on the other. This didn’t affect the performance of the boot as far as I could tell, but still caused some frustration as
Fuente: Mammut DKAwesome boot but sizing off These boots are warm, comfortable and exactly what I've been looking for. I really love them except they're too big for me. The sizing guide online made me think that a 7 would be an EU 38 2/3, when I'm normally a 37/38. Still, it's the smallest size I could find, so I was bummed to see they're actually a 39 1/3. I'm going to be wiggling around a lot, but I guess that's
Fuente: Mammut DKSizing The smallest available size was too large and had to return! The eternal problems with mountaineering gear companies not stocking female sizes…!
Fuente: Mammut DKVery warm, overall quality is suspect. Initially, I was very happy with the boot. Primary use is ice climbing, secondary is for very cold days at work. After less than 20 total hours climbing in the boots, some of the heat-reflective film from the soles started peeling off. I don't think this will affect the overall warmth of the boot too much but it certainly is concerning. I wear a size 11 and h
Fuente: Mammut DKWide Forefoot, narrow heal I am really excited about this boot! While I haven't used it for my main purpose yet, it is living beyond the expectations through my snow training hikes. It is a super warm boot, gives ample support with ability to move and fits great. Beyond 6000 m peaks, I think I am going to keep it for my non-ski snow activity boot with sledding and snow hikes. Here is a longer st
Fuente: Mammut DKComfortable and Warm I’ve tried a few 6000m boots of various brands. The inner boot is by far the most comfortable and form fitting boot I’ve used. No blisters! Major bonus on first ascent.
Fuente: Mammut DKDer beste Winterschuh Tatsächlich der beste Schuh, den ich im Winter im Schnee und im Eis jemals am Fuß hatte.
Fuente: Mammut DKExaclty what i wanted These boots are enought warm for canadian winter. I was scared to froze my toes while ice climbing but they keep me warm. No issue so far with the clip system and the boa are a big plus for me. they feel a little bit smaller then my actual foot size, i would recommend going .5 bigger (for the US foot system) then your normal size.
Fuente: Mammut DKI live in the Canadian I live in the Canadian Rockies where winters can be harsh. Those boots are amazingly light and so warm. Would highly recommend.

Fuente: Mammut DKLight, Precise, and Warm at Altitude I’m a guide based in Argentina, and I started using the Mammut Nordwand 6000 High boots a week ago for the ice climbing season in Mendoza, at 11000ft, paired with automatic crampons. Right from the first day, they were incredibly comfortable, with no pressure points and no break-in needed. One of the things that impressed me the most was how lightweight they f
Fuente: Mammut DKNordwand 6000 High These arrived yesterday. As recommended, I went up a size and they fit absolutely perfectly. The BOA system seems solid and is easy to use. I took them around the city to test comfort and they were perfect. My only complaint is they may be too warm but better safe than sorry.
Fuente: Mammut DKGreat quality, sizing tricky Good quality and perfect for people with low-volume feet. However, the sizing can be tricky. With feet measuring 26. 8 cm barefoot, I had to go for a size 44 2/3 to have enough room in the toe box. For comparison, after trying several alternatives, I felt comfortable in the La Sportiva G2 Evo in size 43. 5 (although it has a higher-volume fit) and the Scarpa in size 4

Fuente: Mammut DKWarm, lightweight and comfortable After dealing with frozen feet and numb toes for a couple of winters in the Canadian Rockies, in a pair of old Nepal Evo that I bought when I started climbing, I decided to get the Nordwand 6000 High ice climbing boots. I used them last winter and found them very comfortable right away, whether I was walking or climbing. They're lightweight and the gaiters keep my
