The Hiking Patrol x Mammut collaboration blends technical precision with a functional, minimalist approach. Shoes for fast hikers who want an optimized gait without sacrificing stability. An Ortholite Insole provides unmatched comfort, while a Vibram SLE EVA midsole offers up to 15% greater shock absorption than average EVA. The Flextron shank improves dynamic control and torsional stability. A Vibram Megagrip Litebase outsole with Traction Lug offers superior traction on steep sections in wet or dry conditions. The rocker-shaped sole ensures a smooth landing with every step and efficient forward movement. With a highly abrasion-resistant woven upper and a special collaboration design, the Hiking Patrol x Mammut Aenergy Ultra Low are equipped for even the most advanced mountain terrain.

Worst fitting shoe ever. I wrote a review already and Mammut clearly deleted it. This shoe is just all wrong. The lacing system is a joke and a poorly done rip off of what Salomon offers. You cannot get a good tie down whatsoever and you end up just having the "laces" dig into the top of your foot. I tried every itteration to make these work because they cost so much but could never find one. 7mil
