Description
A fully equipped down jacket for sub-zero belays, bivouacs and ski descents designed to wear over your hardshell. DRY DOWN insulation provides high-level warmth even when wet. Added high-loft synthetic insulation protects more exposed areas. Boxwall construction eliminates cold spots, while a neck gaiter tunnel, stretch cuffs and high-mounted hem adjustment all work to seal in heat. An abrasion-resistant outer layer boosts insulation, weather resistance and durability. And large zippers and pulls mean greater durability and ease of use with gloves. It fits the taller person (5'10") very well (size medium). I love the big lofty hood. The cinch straps on the hood optimize the opening around your eyes while still providing a good fit around the rest of the face and head. The big pockets on the inside are a great bonus for anything larger like a 1L Nalgene or climbing shoes. Excellent compressibility and quickly regains loft. Outer fabric feels

Very warm This is a great jacket, everything you want it to be on cold ice climbing belays, I m very happy. One thing to note is the size: worth checking the size chart prior to purchasing. I originally automatically ordered my normal size S (I am 36/UK10) but it was enormous. Fantastic jacket for the mountains Super lightweight - when I got it in the mail I thought it wouldn’t be warm enough because of how light it was but it kept me super warm on Rainier. Might be of my favorite belay coat I’ve ever had
