  The Norvan 7, contrary to appearances, is spacious. You can pack: a warm, thick sweatshirt, a raincoat, an extra 500ml isotonic bottle, and plenty of bars. Of course, this depends on the size; the larger the size, the more you can pack. A small size will squeeze everything. For running, the smaller size is obviously better, but for fast trekking, the larger. For me (chest: 90-93 cm), size S is too

  Ordered one to replace my bigger and bulkier one made by another brand. I took it for my first long run or 27 km this weekend and really liked the feel of it.   I used your guidelines for proper fitting and received a product I struggle to wear. The hook and eye connections fastening the vest together are difficult to use and the longevity of the cable eyes is suspect. The water bottles were disappointing in the extreme.

  So far, so good. I brought the vest on its for 30km trek last Sunday and it did everything I needed it to do. It is light and steady. The vest is stable on body and the hydration bags are conveniently located and positively reactive while on the move.

  I bought this to go on shorter day trips as I am mostly a hiker. I found I could take as much as my pack on predictably nice days, without the bulky and sometimes overstuffed pack. I am 71 and the quality looks like it will last my lifetime. Another great product to go along with my other Arcteryx packs, clothing and gear.

  The fit of the Norvan 7 Vest is great. It is nice that it feels like a skin verse a backpack, especially given that it would be used for trail running. The hydration bottles fit perfect and do not bounce around which is great and the material is very light.   I love my green Norvan Vest 7 for long trail runs! It’s super lightweight, adjustable, breathable, and reflective. It comes with 2 Arcteryx water flasks that each hold 500ml of liquid. I love all the side pockets to store fuel, gloves, headlamp, or extra layers. This is my go to running vests for trail races! I highly recommend if you are looking for a sleek and lightweight vest.

  So lightweight and well fitted for women. Barely notice I am wearing it at all, even when loaded with kit and full bottles it is a really comfortable pack.   I really love this vest. I don’t do very long runs or anything crazy, about 10 miles at the most, but it does what is advertised and is very comfortable. I like the water bottles a lot, and enjoy that I don’t have to take them out to use them — I can just bend over a bit and grab a drink. For this reason I use it horseback riding as well for long hacks, it’s really breathable and has held up well.

  Great for long runs during marathon training! Super comfortable, and as a bonus, adds extra chest support. The water bottles are great, and the pockets hold everything I need (fuel, water, keys, hanky). After runs, I give it a quick rinse in the shower and hang it dry.

  This vest is really light, breathable, and comfortable. It's minimalist to a good extent, with just a couple of downsides: the biggest problem is there is no way to close the main mesh pouch on the back--the one you'd actually store things in like extra layers or snacks.   When I got the Norvan running vest, I already had a Salomon 12 vest I loved but it was getting a bit raggedy after years of hiking and trail running in it, so I figured I needed another vest to at least swap out.   I was hesitating between size S and M, and went for the M. I'm 174 cm - 61 kg, Bust 87 cm, Waist 77 cm. The vest fits, but when I'm wearing just a t-shirt, it doesn't bounce, but it is fully tightened at its maximum. I wonder if size S would have been more adjustable — maybe that helps others. Other than that, the vest is great! Love it :)
