Description
Extremely lightweight alpine harness with minimal packing volume for high-altitude and ski tours: the Zephir Altitude. Fully equipped technical harness with single-click buckle for easy putting on/taking off, even when wearing skis or crampons. Patented Split-Webbing technology in the hip belt in combination with HTPE webbing in the leg loop construction ensures a modern design and exceptional comfort. Large ventilation openings for maximum breathability. Gear loops and the drop seat buckle are positioned to allow the Zephir Altitude to be easily combined with a backpack and hip belt.

comfy for its class as we know alpine harnesses are not known for being comfortable, I've been in a few others and this one, in my opinion, is the comfiest, it weighs in at 215 grams. I got a medium but I definitely would get large if I was to order again ( I normal am a medium in harnesses)

More comfortable than other ski harnesses I bought this originally for rescue in my job as a ski patroller and have found myself bringing it on every ski touring trip where I may need a harness instead of my BD Couloir. While the Mammut does not pack down as small it is more robust and comfortable. The small bit of extra size and weight is negligible in my opinion.

Guter leichter Klettergurt Wir verwenden ihn am Klettersteig. Sehr kompakt im Rucksack und durch die Schnallen an den Beinschlaufen gut mit Schuhen anzuziehen. Beim Tragen sehr bequem.

Excellent product for alpine climbing and mountaineering Have used other light weight harnesses especially BD. While they have served great and fine but needed more security for glacial peaks & mountains like Denali and Rainier. The solid loops to hang carabiners gives that peace of mind. Bottomline - lightest and strongest in the market. Petzel Altitude comes right close but I like Mammut colors

Comfortable and lightweight alpine harness Got this for glacier travel. It's not the absolute lightest and smallest on the market, but it's comfortable and very easy to put on and take off. Gear loops work well. I haven't tested it in really extreme conditions yet, but I anticipate it holding up well. My only (minor) wish is that it came in a color besides white; it hasn't gotten too dirty-looking

favorite harness I own for ski touring it is easy to put on and is comfortable for what I use it for. I definitely wouldn't want to hang in it for hours but it is great for the short belays I have done. comfortable to walk in too.
