Lightweight but shaky and not reliable. Just opened the package, and the very first try unfolding the handle, the clip that secures the stop to unfurl the shovel is dismantled and get lost inside of the tube. Imagine that happening while rescuing during an avalanche. I've fixed it and seems to work for several tries until it is dismantled again. The thing I don't get is despite the promotional v

Wow. Light but X-small Was pretty excited when I read the specs on this shovel. I received it and was pretty surprised at how small it is. Similar to the Black Diamond Deploy 3 that I carry for inbounds skiing. Better than not carrying a shovel at all but it would take a long time to move much snow with such a small blade.

Light and great size The other review mentioning the shovel is “small” is somewhat accurate, but not a negative depending on what you are using the shovel for or your situation and type of snow.
