Description

Developed for riders with the most extreme ambitions, the DT Swiss 240 rear hub is equipped with the Ratchet EXP system to maximize reliability and reduce weight.

Eckdaten

• 240 Hub is lighter, stiffer, more precise and easier to maintain than previous versions
• Ratchet EXP is the lightest freehub system from DT Swiss
• Increased bearing distance increases bearing lifetime
• Straight spring provides more direct engagement, which reduces wear
• Fusion of the ratchet and threaded ring reduces the number of single parts in the system, further reducing the weight
• 36 points of engagement offer a great balance of performance and weight savings
• Full engagement of the ratchets creates a large contact surface and therefore low surface pressure that leads to excellent reliability
• Featuring an incorporated notch, the newly developed shape of the end caps simplifies disassembly for maintenance
• Rear hubs featuring the SRAM XD freehub standard are compatible with both 11- and 12-speed cassettes
