Description

When things get sloppy, the Maxxis Shorty 3C MaxxGrip EXO DH Wide Trail tire can keep you going. The knob layout is designed to improve wet traction, cornering performance and mud shedding abilities.

Eckdaten

• Mid-spike tread pattern excels in loose and muddy conditions
• Tall side knobs penetrate loose soil and mud to provide predictable, stable cornering
• 3C MaxxGrip compound uses the stickiest, slowest rebounding rubber offered by Maxxis
• Downhill (DH) casing is made with 2 layers of durable 60 tpi casing material along with a large butyl rubber insert that extends from each bead into the sidewall
• Butyl insert helps prevent pinch flats, protects the rim from impacts and provides additional sidewall stability
• Narrower 2.4 in. casing improves frame and fork clearance and also reduces weight
• Wide Trail (WT) sizes are optimized for 35 mm inner width rims
• Tubeless-ready tire must be mounted to a tubeless-compatible rim and use a liquid sealant in order to retain air
• Tubeless-ready tires offer ability to run lower air pressures for improved traction, lower rolling resistance (compared to a tube-type tire) and decreased chance of flatting
• Recommended for dry and loose, or wet and sloppy conditions
