Eckdaten

• High-precision electric side edge tuner works with most skis and snowboards (sidewalls must be planed or sanded back); do not use on base edges
• Comes with a fine Diamond disc (most popular); extra fine, medium and course discs are also available (not included)
• Adjustable side edge bevels from 90° to 85°
• Handheld, ergonomic and easy to use, with an automatic shutoff mechanism that prevents damage to your edges
• Patented spring-loaded disc mechanism keeps the correct pressure on the disc
• Fast disc change and easy to clean; approximate life of Diamond disc is 400-500 passes (varies by length and condition of edge)
• Extra long power cord (standard 110-volt) ensures a smooth, snag-free path
• Tested for 3 years at the World Cup level and trusted by athletes
• The diamond disc material sharpens and polishes, producing a harder edge than sharpening with a steel file
• Tuning knowledge is important; plane or sand the sidewall back and to get the brake arms banded up before use
• Be sure to use a quality vise that locks your ski or board into place securely
• Swix also recommends a high-quality dust mask (not included) as the edger will kick up metal dust which can be harmful
