Description
The Workhorse Screwgate carabiner is the strongest Mammut carabiner and one of the most robust models on the market. Its size allows user-friendly operation even when wearing gloves. The opening width and volumes are large enough to accommodate several ropes, slings and knots. It is ideal for use as a central carabiner for anchoring as it is particularly robust and durable. The screw locking is easy to operate even in icy or dirty environments. The key lock nose allows easier clipping and unclipping without snagging. An orange marking indicates when the carabiner is not closed.

Perfect for anchor building I love the size of this carabiner for making anchors while canyoneering. Provides plenty of space for the rope and whatever else you need to attach to the anchor.

Really sturdy carabiner Using the Workhorse as my primary carabiner for both lead and top rope gives me the peace of mind when I'm indoors or out. The orange unlocked indicator is also a big help when double checking my gear. TLDR - Workhorse is tough, orange helps monkey brain be safe on wall.

Love the size of this Love the size of this carabiner. The large opening makes it great for climbing, canyoneering, or mountaineering. Things to keep in mind: it is LARGE, the corners are a bit of a sharp bend so getting some devices around it maybe more difficult, and sand can get caught in the screw but that is not unique to this specific carabiner.
