Without compromising on dampening, our developers have reduced the thickness of the Vibram sole to optimize feel. And thanks to the rigid, carbon-fiber midsole, you can expect the same high performance response and control synonymous with the Taiss. Mammut Georganic®3D technology ensures enhanced comfort, with all parts of the boot in contact with the foot designed for specific anatomical features. The elasticated mono-tongue construction helps relieve pressure points on the top of the foot.

Top of the build Those boots are the best i ever had. Extreme durability and lightweight. I was a Ecco and Tenson lover till i found Mammut, Excellent!

Great boots so far I've only used these boots for one season of some winter mountain hiking so far, no ice climbing, so will update this once I've had the chance to climb in them. . . but so far, so great. My first foray was an 8. 5mi day in the White Mountains, and they were incredibly comfortable, sure-footed, and I didn't feel the need to put crampons on until we were on very steep snow. Cramp

Dieser Schuh ist hervorragend. Damit Dieser Schuh ist hervorragend. Damit habe ich vertrauen, auch wenn es damit zu einer Hochtour gehen sollte. Zu dem ersten Bergstiefel habe ich leider kein Vertrauen mehr, da schon beim einlaufen ein Stielfelhaken gebrochen ist. Allerdings, auch wenn es wirklich sehr viel leichter ist, weiß ich nicht, ob dieser Schuh für eine Gletscher-Tour der richtige ist.

Smaller then expected It’s probably a really good shoe…it’s gotta fit though :) I’m a solid 9 in Men’s and ordered it in 9. 5 and it’s too tight. It’s very hard to get in. Even if I were to order 10 or 10. 5 I doubt I would comfortably get in. The top part of the boot is that tight.
