Ripstop fabric provides extra durability. Two chest pockets and an adjustable storm hood fit perfectly with your climbing harness, backpack, and helmet. The high cut gives you room to move without the jacket riding up. Recycled polyamide fabric and easily repairable hood and hem drawcord also embody our Resourceful Performance philosophy. Our design approach maximizes performance with fewer resources, creating more environmentally conscious products for the most extreme conditions. Zipper functions sucks The main zipper does not appear to work as it should ,it gets hung up and catches the fabric in 3-4 spots consistently and it is starting to damage the fabric the metal zipper itself also looks funny it doesn’t look right . Taiss I survived a heavy storm in the jacket and felt completely dry. I really appreciate the ventilation in the armpits and the two-way zippers. What I can comment on the Mammut jacket (I also have a softshell jacket and a polartec one) is that compared to the models from 10 years ago, the jackets are too loose/ big and no longer have a perfect tight feminine cut, it has a baggy fit.
