Description

Once you get used to the extra support on scree and steep and muddy trails, you'll never want to hike without the REI Co-op Hiker staff. It's length-adjustable and doubles as a camera monopod, too!

Klíčová fakta

• Power Lock external locking mechanisms are easy to use—even at low temperatures and when wearing gloves
• 8 in. foam grip and a wide, padded wrist loop ensure a comfortable and secure hold; cork knob unscrews to reveal a monopod camera mount
• Small-diameter trekking basket helps keep the carbide tip from sinking into soft dirt and sand
• 3-section shaft extends to 55 in. and collapses to 26 in.—small enough to strap to a daypack
• Ensure levers are fully tightened and locked before each use; levers loosen in transport and over time, so they may need to be tightened to achieve proper locking tension
